Salam and good morning guys..

Just woke up from Futsal Hangover last night, from 10 pm to 1 am.So tired...

Okay..Let me show u my new ancestor Analogue.Canon FTb!

Because of recently I been poisoned by Eric Kim .Who is he?

He is street photography from LA..still shot black and white..and most of his picture in analogue film..

That's really inspiring me much.

And suddenly this Canon FTb appear..tada!!

Where I get it? don't ask. But surely not from stealing..That's why i called it Anchestor

Is she beautiful?

What is street photography?

There is no accurate or definite definition in dictionary. But it synonym to you capture a moment of people,couple,animals, and anything on street. And it reflects to some stories.

Not every street photography must be candid, or shoot from the hip, but normal shoot also accepted as long as you close enough to subject.

What i mean by close enough?

You know the subject, who he is, what is doing right now, and what the most strong in his mind: current politics?money? pension? child?

That's what I mean from street. But if you have your own definition, you are welcome to put it on my comment.

Most of my picture i take two shot for same situation. Since this is a first roll trial for Canon FTb. I bit doubt is it functioning? So those pictures above is TRY AND ERROR method. Hahaha
For me actually, not bad. Canon FTb is manufactured around 1960 and right now is like, 50 years old..and it still can produce wonderful moment. except still most of it out of focus. Yes im sad about it, need to learn more about this.
It is hard to get focus in street shot because the subject and moment is only there for a second. If u miss it, u will miss it forever.
Yes i need to learn more!!

Hello and salam guys.
Ok lets continue about what's the different between film and dslr.

What will you get on DSLR?

Macro Picture by Olypus E-520

Save a money, because you can delete every time you not satisfied.
You can take a lot/multiple of picture at the same object.
For sport and action, its really useful and good seem you want to catch every move' exp: Cristiano Ronaldo dribbling the ball in the field. (like picture above)
You are master of point of focus and you can use auto focus!! Where you can make a lot of highly sharp pictures.
You are master of white balance picture, so you can manipulate the weather.
You can manipulate the screen (canon D600) for certain hard angle.
Produce a magnificent of macro picture.
If you are publishing in print or Internet or email you already know how great it is to have your files ready to go right from the camera.

Then, what will you get on Film?

Multiple Exposure Panoramic (holga 135bc)

You don't even care about the megapixel !
I f you use toycam, it's very cheap,light and customized!
You will appreciate every moment you captured, because you can't delete it!
You mind will automatically adapt to every weather to set " how much ISO? ASA? Shutter Speed? Aperture?" because there is no room for you to delete if you misunderstood the light!
Every time you process your film, its like adrenaline rush around your body, waiting the result!
It will make you more creative to select the subject and object!
You will appreciate your picture! (trust me). You don't even care about contrast, saturation and level. Its all about moment.
So far I knew, you cant edit your negative! So no Photoshop, and people cant accuse you for being fake!
You can do multiple exposure directly from your film camera ! In DSLR you can do it on Photoshop.
If you make mistakes, you get no laughing at or criticism; instead you are encouraged by people who will tell you this is a happy mistake or accident.

So actually no matter what camera you used, If you can feel every moment in it, that's enough.

The most important think, we must learn in every aspect in camera we have so we wont too fool to machines.

Hello and Salam guys. Peace upon you.

Last night my friends come and pay visit at my room, very small room, stay here for 2 years, finishing my remaining 1 years in Indonesia to get my medical degree. could you imagine that? 3x4 meters with toilet inside for around Rp 7.5 millions/ RM 3000 / USD 750 per year. Very cheap but can you imagine, i stay in 3x4 meters, claustrophobic, for whole year, and I will feel home when Eid is coming, because i can go back to Malaysia. Home sweet home.

Because of this current situation, I decided to get a new hobby. Outdoor hobby.

Oh maybe I can try mount climbing?cool right..Indonesian people call it "cowo abis" means "so manhood".

Oh maybe I can try swimming?since swimming pool here so cheap and lots of amoeba.haha

Oh maybe I can try kayaking? very cool and I knew I will get six pack from that.

Oh maybe I can try cycling? hmmm

Oh maybe I can try ..try.. photography?hehehe

Okay first of all, I"m currently living in Indonesia, tropical country, which is rain is synonym here. For the whole year. So my outdoor hobby is limited!

Mount climbing?are you sure? u will get slip on it.

Swimming? I'm ain't fish or Micheal Phelps

Kayaking? medical student to go to kayaking every Sunday? trust me its so hard.

Cycling?blame the rain lah.

So i choose photography, instead of indoor I can go outdoor..

Besides I start to love this hobby at age of 15 years old when I'm in boarding school.

By using this camera.

But i don't know where is it now?hahahha

So at year of 2008, I decided to purchase DSLR. Olympus E-520 with kit lens.

A bit expensive but I think I can manage it.

But, I don't know why I can ever satisfied to myself bout this camera

Why man? why? Is like lack of something here..

Seriously...I don't know its either the Olympus Brand or I just not into it.

Around 4 years using this camera. Have a bad and good times. Oh by the way, my friends come and want to borrow this Olympus and asked me about why I choose photography and why I change to film camera back.

Is like going back to the future.hahaha

Ok back to the main question first. Why is photography? why?

Honestly I just want to look cool...yep seriously!

Wandering around the street or any big dinner in hotel, having DSLR in your neck.

Burden with weight until got neck pain. Its so pain in the ass.

And besides at that time, everybody has it! So I also want it! How on earth I'm so stupid?

And the burden not only in neck, but burden with responsibility.

People ask me to take picture. And when they look at the result, they will say

" hey why the pics a bit blur?"

" I think I want more close up pic" My girlfriend always do this! urghhhh

" why like this? why like that?"

" I think it is because of Olympus lah, you should get Nikon" I hate this so much!

" can you upload it? so I can put on Facebook" ahahhaah this one funny.

So can you see the burden here?

But within 4 years time I won 1 local competittion.

Got various and a lot of picture. I mean eye stunning pictures

These are my top pictures taken in Bali 2010. By DSLR. so Olympus E-520 still not bad. Its just need more touch and passion. So the question "why not Nikon?" is not appropriate for me though.

The best thing about photography is moment! Every picture tells me everything. That's what I want. Because i want when I'm old, my kids asked me "papa, where is this?" "ohhh Bali 2010"

See...its moment that you never forget and you will smile for the whole day.

That's what photography means!

But I ONLY APPRECIATE EVERY MOMENT WHEN I'M USING FILM!!

Really? YES!!!!

I tell you why?

when you using DSLR,

ISO,Aperture, Metering,white balace, Autofocus, Image Stabilizer, Shutter Speed..

All of this function can be set as auto, semi auto or manual.

And most of my picture I used as try and error.

If I don't like it, delete it, try again.

And I never learnt.

Until I met my first film camera, LOMO version, Holga 135 bc!!!

Why toycam? Because toy camera available so far, analog its hard to find; but its still film.

For film, every film have it own ISO

Every film have it own characteristics; Redscale, slides and so on.

Every film camera, you can't delete it like DSLR.

So every picture means everything to you. By the way, you can't edit it on Photoshop!

No try and error method here; just shoot, process it and learn from it!

From film camera,

I feel appreciate :

ISO
Appertue
Shutter Speed
when to use flash
You don't simply shoot, but you try to find perfect angle to shoot!
You will appreciate more in your subject and background!
Last but not least is, you will say this " ahhhh I love this moment" when you using film.

after a long 7 month clinical years in Rumah Sakit Hasan Sadikin, Bandung..
going back for good...Aidulfitri!!! Hell Yeah.. i just want to relax my soul..
bcoz i got another 1 year ahead before i complete my medical study...

and they can't digest the seeds..

and

biji kopi itulah akan di kisar halus hingga menjadi..

seperti kopi yang di minum sehari2...

so in this Coffee Luwak...

only selected Coffee Fruit ate by this fox..

the seeds will wash carefully to get the seeds..

grind it and bakar..

become new coffee..

trust me they wash it nicely...

i was there...hehhe

Bali day 2...
we spent a lot of time on road only...
we went to north Bali..
visiting some temple there..
in Bedugul and Tanah Lot...
most popular ancient temple...
kind of surprising to see Balinese realy2 honor their temple very well
indeed...

about Bedugul...

we climbed to hill

3 hours i think plus kemacetan jalan..

interesting about this temple is..

it is situated on the lake..or danau...

on the water!!!!

very large lake...

and the weather was very cold...

bekulah juga tangan2 kami...

oh ya...in Bali...they called temple as Pura

see...the Pura is floating...

actually taklah floating pun...just build the base underwater..and it will

terapung la macam Masjid Terapung...

the temple became an icon in 50k Indonesian rupiah

so we decided to take some of funny photo here...

Uluwatu is one of most popular temple in Bali..
it located at edge of sea...woo
unique right...hahah..i'm impressed..
majority of Balinese are Hindu... so temple is like mosque to them...
they pray al the time just like us..plus they mix it Hindu with their culture(correct me if i'm wrong)...
that's surprise me...

what a morning...just got up and found this blog talk about roove beetle...aka charlie..[source]

situation: doctor nowadays never knew about this insect...i think its a new insect that bite human...

sorry not bite..but spread they 12 times more powerful than COBRA venom to skin...

which can lead conjunctivitis and dermatitis..what is that?

ok...non-medical personnel term..

conjunctivitis =swollen eyes..most worried..can lead to blindness..carefull

dermatitis = inflammation of skin.....redness,painfull sometimes can lead to pus (nanah) like lesion

in this case...the pus will appear

and will coz scar within a month....

this creature habitats usually in paddy fields and ladang kelapa sawit...

so for my friends in Bandung..who lives besides the paddy hill (padi huma)..just carefull..close every windows or lubang2...during "winterlike season" hahhaha

characteristic is just like this:

start from unbelievable submit thesis stress...MDE exam (tropical medicine block), OSCE (skills lab exam and SOCA (hmm i will tell later)...complete one month!!!!

THESIS SUBMISSION....
ok...i bet in anywhere university harus ada minor thesis for graduation right??hahah...so do us from UNPAD..but it a little bit tricky here..just +/- 6 months to do this....
everybody here got 2 pembimbing....bkn pembimbing rakan sebaya..hahah...but Doctor ok...
mostly they are specialist...woh...
so what do u expect??SPEALIST...busy and busy and busy....
harder to meet...
harder to cooperate..
but still in humanism...
i got two doctor..Dr.Yogi and Dr.Lola...
both nice...Alhamdulillah...syukur aku...email-based doctor..easy to sms..and they reply...alhamdulillah..although i change my title for 5 times...but its still manageable...
but...i find hard way in get the surat perlepasan...for BIROKRASI2...haiya..sedih..
i dont want to elaborate more la..later after my thesis really success...now i waiting for minor thesis exam aka presentation...14-18 june...

block exam...tropical medicine..its about most popular desease in south east asia...like denggue..
and many more..sampai bisul, panau pun kami belajar...hahaha..cool..but exam..snot so coll..
need to understand all the bacteriology..morphology..woh....easy to read and understand..but to memorize....thumbs down...hahah
like most doctors in Fakultas Kedokteran said ' the more u read, the more u forget'...yup..setuju..

OSCE....
we learned about 28-30 skills lab per year (approximately la)...
and at the end of year...we need to perform it backs...
what skill??ok..this year we learned like lumbar puncture..sunat menyunat (i like!!!)..catheterization( put a tube of foley cathehter in genital so that we can drain all urine for people not so easy to urinate) and so on.....
ass always...learning was fun...exam...erkkk...during this exam...most specialized doctor come to test us...we got 12 station..which kami tak tahu yang mane satu...yang keluar...haaaa....
every station only got 10 minutes to perform then change to next station...this exam very demanding...detailed..everything must follow the procedur..hahaha...woh..
i failed 2 station..woh...basically nervous and too blanked..woh...
since we learned by mannequin aka patung2...we dont have it home la..so we just learned by video...and exam...
but we have remedial and i managed it successly..
now we go to SOCA....
APE NI???
inilah exam oral...for 31 case!!!!from respiratory block,genitourinary and genitointestinal and tropical medicine...woh...complete...
here we need to explain to 2 dokter penjaga....sorang2....from
Basic science...(anatomi,physio, histologi)
and clinical....( all pathogenisis and bla2.....)
clinical is hardest one la...31 cases...u need to put in ur brain...for exam...in 20 minutes..all your study for one year judge by only 20 minutes...either u a good student..or bad student...its there..
u cant explain...u failed...simple and no mercy...
i managed for good soca since 1st year...but in this year (4th)...haiya...i failed..
i got Tuberculosis case...
i still cant accept i failed which i think i can got A....see
woh..failed...actually the mark for our grade is like 50% MDE...50% soca...
got it...
so when i failed...possibilities to proceed to clinical year, in bandung....phew...cant happen...50% meh...
i cried...in my room when i got failed..i stress...its like i cant make it...although i have remedial..to repair it...which in the next day....i still cant get full marked..only 56 i will got although u got 100...thats the rule here..sigh...
aku down gile2...i need to read all case back..memorize it back...for less than 24 hours..woh...
becoZ we still dont know which case will come out next...
until the day i remedial...only managed to read 11 cases only....out of 31 cases...
aku gamble jer...woh...ALHAMDULILLAH i managed to past it...but
behind my succes in soca...

first i knew is from ALLAH swt....sumpah...aku hanya doa dan terus doa to give me the case that i can master and the doctor in charge the most kind people on earth...and it happened..
i got hepatisis B cases..tricky habes case ini...
hmmm...naseb aku dpat buat...
2nd...its from my parents doa...really from them...

they pray for me alot...i knew,,,thanxs to mama and papa...keep give me hope to proceed for medical course here..although its very hard here...(gambar ini saya tangkap yer...and kasi hitam-putih..ada old school skit mari la)
thanks mama n papa..my dad especially...dia pun cuak the day when he knew i will take remedial for soca...sampai sakit2 perut...laaa dia pulak sakit perut...hahaha...

23 march 2010...Tournament for rugby 15-side started...so our game start against Jago Dulu (played by The French who work in Indonesia)
the game started around 530 pm...weee..
Below is Jago Dulu Badges which they choose the Ayam's or Rooster as mascot..
our teams use Rams or kambing gurun,.heheehe
this is most amazing match that i ever played in my life..haha..we won..how?
IT'S COMEBACK!!!! we comeback at very last minute....last 2 minutes actually...

Before i tell u more about the game..firstly let me show u our brand new jersey..see...red color..and i played for no.8 for the first time..like Rodney So'oialo...hahaha..like him!!!!played no.8 for all blacks for life man!!

actually we struggled against them in 80 minutes...phew...

the French have a lot of ability to do field goal..they take most of penalty by kick and conversion...they only try 3= 15 points..and rest of it is conversion=6 points and one penalty try=6 points, because of Harwant Singh made obstruction..which make them total =27 points
during their points at 21..we leading at 25 points...during the fifth tried...its just 5 minutes left..so we taught we want delay time..defend till last..

then suddenly...(suspense mode)

one of our winger made mistake by unnecessary kick!!!
which make them tried at last 5 minutes...
they lead at 27-25..haiyo Wesley Masket...

last 2 minutes...

we played 'forward' only..we use excessively props..all from no1-no8...we run and hit..
run and hit again..we made around 80 yards..we dont pass to winger anymore..we only concentrate to 'forward'...we drive slowly..drive our last strength...
last 22 yards..danger zone of Jago Dulu..

and...we tried by Frances...thx man...hahahah...we won by 30-27 points..then ref end the war....

Alhamdulillah..we won it...
our bad is we lack of kicker..so every tried we made..we lost points against conversion..2 points lost...total try is 6..so we lost 12 points..if we can get conversion...12 points ahead them..haiya..we miss Hazim(most powerful; kicker i ever meet)

he decided to donate his two house for neglected child..

Jom Jalan-Jalan Bandung..

People always ask me how Bandung?
Cold weather right?
so for this entry..i will review about Bandung a bit..
Since I'm studying here...a lot of place did I explored..
This picture representing about road here..quite busy..and always macet(low trafic flow)..
but still worth it for your vacation..for shopping and leisure..but for study...ermmm...think it twice..
The weather here around 23-26 degree Celsius..breezy but dusty..

The most place u need to visit is Tangkuban Parahu..
Is an active VOLCANO which produced a big huge danau ( lake or mere).A lot of smelly sulfur here.
Best place for photographer!!!!!hehehe
Some studies showed this volcano still can erupt anytime soon.
This place also have historical story about Sang Kuriangan who fall in love to his mother..
Before u reach here, there is a lot of pretty tea plantation,strawberry farm and hot spring Ciater.
You can pluck your own strawberry direct from here.
Hot spring is nice when u go at night..woooo

Besides that, Bandung also have a lot of Factory Outlet..or F.O. They sell a lot of high branded shirt like Armani, Zara and Versace here.
So FO is like Reject Shop..so u need to choose it carefully and is harder to find size..
for smaller people, is still worthit! U can get it around Rm 40 for Armani Shirt!
A lot of people come here to buy for present..hehehe..
The most popular FO here are..Grande, Rumah Mode, and the Secret..
This all FO is located in Jalan Dago and Jalan Riau.

Besides its heaven for shopping for women..
it also nice for men..they also sell a lot of leather shoes, bags, wallet and jacket..
From branded and high quality like Bally and Burberry..but..always double check it, because is factory outlet..
what i always remind my friends who come here..dont expect to much!!! Bandung also have a lot of mall if u not interested in FO..but the price always higher than Malaysia..
They have Paris Van Java (like The Curve), Istana Plaza in Pasir Kaliki, CiWalk in Cihampelas and Bandung Indah Plaza
The cinema is here also different!!
i like it!..the seats is more comfortable compare to TGV and GSC in Malaysia..and the shows always on time..two tumbs up..
Two Dominant cinema here is Blitz Megaplez and
XXII.

Foods. for the foods i suggest Nasi Padang Simpang Raya and Nasi Padang Sederhana...is everywhere.
U also can try sundanese food like Roemah Nenek and Kampung Daun..
For Western..u can try The Valley.

This is The Valley. Located at uphill Dago Pakar.
Fromhere u can see the whole Bandung from uphill..nice view and environment here.
The price quite reasonable for the place.

If u looking for night hangout..i suggest Dago Plaza..and Amnesia in Ciwalk.

Dont forget to come to Pasar Baru...
This 6 stories mall with a lot of kain-kain which u can buy it for bundle which just cheap price...the bargain power play a main role here.
good bargain=nice price.
here, u can buy telekong, baju raya and even bridal cloth( betul ke ni).
for Invitation Wedding card, also cheap, more creative( than Malaysia) and nice!!!
But beware of pickpocket and who those with asthma, better prepare your inhaler because its humid and congested here.

this post is about my rugby carrier..on 20 March 2010..saturday or yesterday..
we had friendly match between Bandung Rams vs ISCI Komodos
currently this game is conduct by Indonesian Rugby Football Union. Next week will be tournament which include 4 teams i guess..

why i play? Because i want to enhance my experience in this field since this game introduce to since i'm in boarding school..honnestly..its part of my life..i cant stop playing it mate..
match between ISCI Komodos is 40-30..we lost by two try...we still lack of experience than Komodos team which is totally Aussie and N.Z players there..very quality..very strong and most feared.
So i will not talk how we play..let those picture below tell u the story....right now...all part of my body aches and sore..all muscle is like want to explode...boom!!!arghhh...

28 hb february...yoyo,,our batch leader..organize gamers week..for our batch..huhu credit to his dedication...respect lu bro..so in 28 hb,he organize Winning Eleven Competition, for yg taktau,ia adalah game main bola sepak versi play station la..last year pun ada buat,tapi aku ta layak pun melepas dr peringkat kumpulan la..but this year i got BRONZE!!!huhuh...juara farid laa..damn...huhu tak kessah pun...suka2 jer main...papepun....its SWEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
5hb march....still in gamers week...but now was DOTA competition...ape ni dota??Defend of the Ancient laa...some kind of epic game...its need 5 fellas to play we another 5 fellas...for some guys maybe its game for nerd...but for other guys..is about maruah n harga diri..we dont let other team to rape us..hahaha...gile emotional aku..btw...we were underdog la ...always di RAPE by cikuda team..huhu...but at dis day...we rise as hero and we meraih pingat EMAS!!!!EMAS wei..

14hb march...hmmm my exam fall on 16 march but at 14 march i go play rugby at bandung,,damn gamble...but thats life rite..without gamble..u never taste how sweet your life bro..this rugby competition was for development in Indonesia in the sake of rugby..pity to dis country..such a big country but never one berani utk bermain bola bujur ini...so dis kind of competition target to encourage indonesian people to involve...so during dis competition, we have 4 team which are BAndung Tiger(team aku),Bandung Rams,Balikpapan Bears n Isci Komodos...huhu basically..for balikpapan n isci sumenya team org putih belaka...damn...so we play with very tough n big fella...our team only have some of malaysian student n Papua people...hmmm...my tean crash to no 4 n i got severe superficial injury at tibia....(saje besar2kan)....bcoz kena pijak during racking...sabo je la...hahah...but for me..its still sweet moment...everytime i look to the scar...its reminds me of the hardwork in field...
